I write today to express my support for Lorrel Plimier and Conna McCarthy for City Council.
I believe that Lorrel’s experience as a community volunteer, an attorney, and a data scientist make her the right choice to serve on the City Council. She has taken the time to delve into numerous topics as a volunteer and worked with the city on many different policy issues, developing good relationships with city staff, community groups, and elected officials.
In Conna’s first term on the City Council, she showed tremendous leadership and acumen. She has proven her mettle as a public servant as well as steward of taxpayer funds since elected. Conna is willing to listen to all points of view and make decisions crucial to our City’s well-being.
Having Lorrel and Conna serve on the City Council will help the city continue to be able to adapt to the changing needs of the Piedmont community and continue the bedrock mission of providing the high level of service and accountability we demand from our city government.
I urge my fellow Piedmonters to vote for Lorrel Plimier and Conna McCarthy for City Council and submit your ballots on or before November 5th.
Sincerely,
John O. Tulloch
