Giving Campaign: Participation competitions and community celebrations

PEF

Mr. Bubble entertained the 2024 Giving Campaign participation champs from PUSD TK classes.

The Piedmont Education Foundation (PEF) is excited to launch key components of this year’s Giving Campaign, designed to unite the community in support of our schools. This week, we are kicking off both the Class Participation Challenge and the City-Wide Participation Challenge, with fun rewards to inspire involvement. Plus, it’s your last chance to claim a coveted purple lawn sign.

Class Participation Challenge

Piedmont parents, it’s time to rally. The grade level with the highest parent participation in the Giving Campaign will win an age-appropriate celebration hosted by PEF. Last year the TK families had a candy party featuring Mr. Bubble. Right now, second grade is in the lead with 37% of parents participating. Every contribution makes a difference and brings us closer to this exciting prize — let’s work together to make it happen.

Journeying toward our goal

As of last week, we have raised just over $1.6 million and are making progress toward the community’s $4 million goal. To track how we’re doing, visit the big thermometer in front of Mulberry’s Market. A big thank you to those who have already donated! If you haven’t contributed yet, now is the perfect time. Make your donation by Nov. 1, and you’ll receive a purple Giving Campaign lawn sign — a great way to show your support and encourage others to give. Lawn signs will be delivered the week of Nov. 6.

While you wait for your purple lawn sign, you may spot a bright pink flock of flamingos making its way through Piedmont. These cheerful visitors are stopping by homes of families who have already donated. Will they land at your house next?
