Giving Campaign: Creating an environment to thrive and ways to give

The Piedmont community is built on a foundation of generosity, commitment, and a shared goal of providing the best possible environment for our students to thrive. Our schools go above and beyond to ensure each student has access to the resources and support needed to succeed. As we launch our latest Giving Campaign, we want to highlight two key elements: “Creating an Environment to Thrive” and “Ways to Give.”

Creating an Environment to Thrive

Our donations have a profound impact on students and their families, and I’d like to share a personal example—my son, Nico. As a bilingual student, Nico faced challenges with his English language skills in his early years of elementary school. Thanks to the generosity of our community and the resources made possible by the Giving Campaign, he was able to receive the support he needed. Through dedicated evaluations and specialized resources provided by the school, Nico was able to strengthen his language skills, laying a solid foundation for his future success.

Nico’s experience is just one of many. Piedmont schools are committed to going above and beyond for every student, ensuring they have the tools to thrive. This is why participation in the giving campaign is so essential. Your contributions directly enhance the educational experience and personal growth of every student in our district.

By supporting the campaign, you help create an environment where each child, like Nico, can flourish, and families like mine are incredibly grateful for the difference your generosity makes.

We invite everyone in the community to join us in this mission of educational excellence. Together, we can ensure that Piedmont remains a place where students are given every opportunity to succeed.

Ways to Give

One of our most frequent questions is: “What’s the best way to contribute?” The answer is that we appreciate a variety of methods, each of which plays a crucial role in supporting our schools. Here are the ways you can make a donation:

  • Checks: A timeless and effective way to give.
  • Gifts of Stock: We would especially appreciate knowing in advance which stocks are being transferred and by whom.
  • Donor Advised Funds: Donations through DAFs are welcome, and our tax ID number is 94-6426176.
  • Foundation Grants: Institutional giving through grants helps us fund initiatives.
  • Payroll Giving: Easy, automated giving directly from your paycheck.
  • Corporate Matching: Many employers match their employees’ donations. Please check with your HR department to maximize your impact.
  • ACH Transfers and Credit Card Contributions: We accept credit card donations but prefer ACH transfers due to the lower fees involved.
  • Automated Monthly Bill Pay: This can be set up through your bank for an easy, consistent donation, as long as we know in advance what the total contribution will be by June 30.

No matter how you choose to give, every contribution is vital to maintaining the excellence of our schools and the services they provide.
