This fall, Piedmont Community Service Crew (PCSC), a youth-led program, is selling pre-prepared autumn themed baskets. The baskets will include fun at home activities for families to safely celebrate the fall holidays.
All of the proceeds of this fundraiser will go toward funding our programs and events. Some of our biggest projects include, working with RTO (Rebuilding Together Oakland) to refurbish a low-income family’s home, building a “tiny house” for a homeless teen, serving thousands of meals that our members cook, and many more. Not only do all of our profits go towards some of these important projects, but we support youth leadership for local teens.
Below are the different varieties of baskets we are selling (*“early bird” pricing if payment is received before Sept 20):
- Fall Children’s basket, $75 ($65*): contains a caramel apple dipping kit with two fresh crisp apples and ingredients, movie snack kit and an arts and craft kit will be included. These baskets are customizable and can be altered to fit your family’s needs. Offered in a home-made wooden crate.
- Fall Adult Basket, $75 ($65*): contains an apple pie and spiced cider making kit, all in a home-made wooden crate. Pumpkin Carving Kit, $25: contains a large pumpkin and carving kit with carving tools and a fun booklet with instructions, helpful tips and tricks and ideas for how your family can decorate the pumpkin. that your family can carve together. - Virtual Cakewalk Ticket, $5/ per ticket: purchase a ticket for a chance to win a fall-themed dessert.
All desserts will be baked by our crew members and all of our proceeds will go toward supporting the crew’s philanthropic efforts. These baskets will be delivered either on October 29 or 30, depending on your preference. But baskets will still be available to purchase after that date, up until October 15th.
