Name: Donut
Members of Family: Colin, Victoria, Grace, Olive, Barney (dog) Thompson
Age: 8 years old
Breed: mixed/unknown
Adoption Story: Mid-November in 2016, we decided we were in need of some kitten therapy. We adopted two kittens, whom we named Donut and Daisy. The sisters were found in a bag on a side street in San Francisco, and they were brought to the local shelter where we ultimately found them. (Sadly, Daisy passed away in 2018.)
Favorite napping spot: Bright sunny spots and dark corners of closets.
Favorite toy: She loves to chew on plastic; more of an obsession than a toy, really.
Interesting facts: Donut is the most tolerant cat we’ve ever known, particularly with the girls when they were young and a little rough with her. With each tug and topsy-turvy carry around the house, she loved it all like a dutiful St. Bernard.
Anything else: Olive says that Donut looks like an otter. We think it’s meant with sweet intent, and that it’s pretty accurate.
