You must come by 9:30 am to the pancake breakfast to claim your ticket.

Adult Tickets ($15): Guests ages 15+, Youth Tickets ($10): Guests ages 3-14, Children under 3 are free. Please Paypal your total amount owed to PCSCOfficial@gmail.com (this will show that the recipient is Emma Broening); state “friends and family” when selecting the payment type so that we receive the full amount.

Parade: The parade starts at 11 a.m. on Highland Avenue close to Moraga Avenue. The floats, classic cars, and musical groups will make their way down Highland Avenue past a viewing stand by Piedmont Park where the Mayor and other local luminaries will be waiting.

Reminder: Please don’t move chairs along the parade route and be considerate of public spaces in advance of and during the parade. Do not place chairs at bust stops, don’t block access from the street to the sidewalk with chairs.

Early birds set their parade-viewing chairs out in last June in 2023.

In their newsletter, the Piedmont Recreation Department invited summer campers to join their float — “Find Your JAM at PRD”. Campers and their families are invited to dress up in fun, bright camp shirts and help add some color to this year’s parade and hopefully win an award — for the third time. Participants are welcome to dress in their finest patriotic attire as well. Meet at 29 Mesa Drive at 10:30 a.m. (Not a drop-off event — a parent or guardian must accompany children along the route.)

Party in the park and neighborhood block parties : After the parade make your way to Piedmont Park for live music until 3 p.m. and food concessions run by the Scouts. Various neighborhoods around town will be hosting their own block parties. June 27 was the deadline to submit an application for a street closure. The city asks picnickers to use blankets rather than tarps for picnics in the park. (Tarps damage the grass.)
