On Wed. April 5, Piedmont Connect and the League of Women Voters of Piedmont conclude the Climate Speaker Series with a presentation by Stanford professor Dr. Mark Jacobson, speaking on climate impacts of the built environment with a particular focus on pollution from homes and achievable, current-day decarbonization solutions to improve local air quality and reduce climate destabilization. The Bay Area native and Stanford scientist has transitioned to fossil-free living personally, and also happens to be a global expert on the technologies and policies that can deliver us from fossil pollution.
